Driftless Thresholds: A Fall Retreat for Rest, Ritual, and Renewal with Paige Locszi

  • Red Clover Ranch 44727 County Rd X Soldiers Grove, WI 54655 (map)

Celebrate the harvest and the changing of the seasons at Red Clover Ranch, nestled among black cabins, blazing trees, and the soft folds of Wisconsin’s Driftless hills. As autumn turns the land to gold and ember, we’ll gather to slow down, listen inward, and set our intentions for the coming season before we move toward a new year.

Come howl into the dark fall night and see yourself in the stars, connecting to your center and to the center of everything. Find stillness and silliness and softness and silence and frankness and beauty.

As the seasons change, ask yourself what you want to change within you? Move your body, still your mind, open your heart, and walk yourself home.  We’ll be right beside you walking, too.

Over four days we’ll weave yoga, meditation, and spacious rest with the elements of the ranch: fiery fall colors, hot sauna sessions, cold plunges in the biodynamic pool, and long exhale walks under the canopy of trees and undulating hills. We’ll share sustainable farm-to-table meals, lovingly prepared from local, seasonal ingredients, nourishing the body as we tend the heart.

Intentional Creative Practice

Together we’ll create “shields” — personal totems made from intention and collaged images — as physical reminders to carry our prayers and commitments home. We’ll work within an ancient matrix, a living framework I’ve been in relationship with for over a decade, to ground our visions in something timeless and true.

This practice invites you to meet the changing season with clarity and courage, so your inner landscape can align with the turning of the land around you. Bring yourself (all of yourself) your slippers, favorite clothes, a special  pen and something to contribute:A poem, a painting, words of wisdom, cookies- whatever is a reflection of you.

Paige Loczi is a catalyst for alignment, designing transitional spaces—on the mat and in the built environment—that support embodied stillness, conscious transformation, and a renewed sense of belonging.

As an interior architect, yoga teacher, and geomancy practitioner, Paige explores how energy interacts with form—within both space and self. Guided by teachings from the Twisted Hairs Métis Medicine Society of the Sweet Medicine SunDance (Deer Tribe), she studies how the cosmos organizes itself through subtle geometries, seeing design as a living language of energy. Her practice seeks harmony between these natural forces and the human experience—so that when aligned, environments can awaken, balance, and reflect the essence of those who inhabit them.

Rooted in her own transformational journey, Paige’s work in consciousness weaves together yoga, meditation, and subtle body awareness into a deep exploration of inner alignment. A former gymnast and dancer, she once understood the body through strength and structure—but it was yoga that taught her to breathe, soften, and listen. Having found grace in movement and refuge in stillness, her practice evolved from discipline into devotion.

Through her classes, retreats, and collaborations with Make Conscious, Paige guides others in exploring how awareness, ritual, and energetic design principles—including geomancy and Taoist philosophy—can quietly reorganize how we feel, focus, and connect. Her work continues to bridge the inner and outer worlds, reminding us that true design begins in consciousness itself.

Paige holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley, a Certificate in Sustainable Design from UC Berkeley Ext., and an Advanced Certificate in Tao Geomantic Studies from the Qi-Mag International Feng Shui & Geobiology Institute, along with multiple yoga certifications and initiations.
