Dispatch from the Ranch: Ode to Spring

Hello friends,

We are officially open for our 4th season and it is so great to be back in the saddle again! The spring flowers are in full bloom (see apple blossoms photo above for reference). I’ve come to really appreciate springs flowers, lasting only a few weeks. They are natures first expression of life after its long winter dormancy. Delicate, perfumed, pastel, and temporal. Spring is a time for new growth, which is exponentially faster then other times of the year. The valley and ridge tops are full of vibrancy and newness. Literally and figuratively.

We’ve been slowly growing our Spring retreat season and I want to take a moment to let you know why this is such a great time to host a retreat. Here are a few reasons: 1) retreating is a great way to shake off the long winter 2) walking in the apple orchard and smelling the fragrant smell of apple blossoms in the air is amazing 3) warmer days and cool nights are great for outdoor activities, sauna’s, and sleeps 4) the bird migration is happening and we are on the mississippi flyway 5) the peepers are out singing their noisy chorus. I could go on…but I won’t. If you interested in hearing the rest of the list and learning more about hosting a retreat in the spring of 2027, please reach out to hello@redcloverranch.com.

There are so many great retreats this season. Hope you can join us for one.
