Dispatch from the Ranch: A Fall Thank You + Playlist + 2026 Booking

Hello Friends,

Our third season has come to a close, and I want to thank you all for being part of our community. You are a large piece of what Red Clover Ranch is continuing to become. I see so many echoes from growing up at my grandparents’ dude ranch, and it’s such a joy to see the Ranch community evolve. We are very grateful to offer a place of respite, connection, and restoration.

Deep Fall has descended on the valley. I’ve always been fascinated with the cycle of seasons how this lush land with a million different worlds in it moves into a final display of deep color tones, the cacophony of bird noise subsides, and the life that stays is finding their winter slumbering place. While sitting in front of the glow of the wood stove this morning I am doing the same; moving slow and making plans for our next season. Later I will finish planting the spring bulbs in our gardens, and mow the fields to make way for the new growth in the Spring. Mary Oliver encapsulates this time in her poem song for autumn beautifully. I hope you find time in your day to move slower and prepare for the quiet of wintertime. In the spirit of this season I made a playlist. I hope you enjoy.

Wishing you warmth and light,
