The Practice of Re-Membering

The Practice of Re-Membering is a three-night creative gathering at Red Clover Ranch in Wisconsin’s Driftless Region, facilitated by Annie Novotny, LCPC, ATR-BC and Muffie Delgado Connelly, SEP.

You’ll spend our time exploring the practice of returning to relationship with our bodies, our creativity, the land, one another, and maybe some parts of yourselves you haven’t heard from in a while.

Participants will be invited to-

  • Make things without worrying about whether they’re good.

  • Move without needing to know where we’re going.

  • Follow a color, a sensation, a strange idea, and our curiosity.

  • Get a little messy. Maybe surprise ourselves.

  • Share, to our comfort levels, what we discover in these processes.

  • And there will be space where nothing in particular is expected of you. Time to walk the land, take a nap, sit around a fire, eat something delicious, laugh with new friends, or simply be quiet.

Throughout your time together, Annie and Muffie will guide you through creative practices and embodied experiences designed to help you listen a little more closely, to your body, your impulses, your imagination, and to what might be asking for your attention.

This retreat is an invitation to remember something we so easily lose track of in the noise of our lives: that we belong. To yourselves. To your bodies. To your creativity. To one another. To the land beneath your feet and this big, strange, living world.

The practice of re-membering is less about finding something you’ve lost and more about creating enough space for what has always been there to find its way back to you.
