Dispatch From the Ranch: Brand New Podcast + a New Retreat
Hello Friends,
Big news this week! We started a podcast. Welcome to Dispatches from The Ranch.
Opening Red Clover was a mission driven, life-work type of thing to provide a supportive space to connect to with ourselves and others in the more nuanced nooks and crannies of life. I am endlessly interested in the power of nature, creativity, and holistic health practices. In this high-information world, we have so much coming at us at the click of a button with news, screens, and the demands of the world, work, and family. Making space for painting, writing, meditation, biking, breathwork, canning food, petting an animal, watching the clouds, decorating the most beautiful cake, or laying in a hammock feeling the breeze wash over you—all of it lives in the same space and is the antithesis of the pressures of modern day demands. You could call it magic or presence, I’m not totally sure, but it is to me what is true and the secret sauce for living. The Retreat Leaders, farmers, and musicians that travel through know this alchemy in their own practice, and I wanted to talk with them and learn what it means to them and their journey so far.
Dispatches from The Ranch is a beginning, and we are starting with this season’s retreat leaders. Please take a listen, save it so you don’t miss an episode, and give it a rating so other people can find it. If one of these lovely Retreat Leaders’ work sparks your interest please give yourself the gift of joining us this season. Click on the image below to go to our podcast channel.
If that isn’t enough, we also have a new retreat announcement so read on to learn more about Elizabeth Shaw’s Harvest and Preserve Autumn Women’s Gathering.
Wishing you the alchemy of presence this week,

Harvest and Preserve: Autumn Women’s Gathering
with Elizabeth Shaw
10/3 - 10/6
This Fall, join Elizabeth Shaw—coach, outdoors woman, yoga teacher, and traveler—to reconnect to nature and community during a restorative long weekend. Autumn is a time for slowing down, reflecting, and gathering what we need to move forward. As we embrace the rhythms of autumn and the rituals of harvesting and preserving, together, we will ask ourselves: what is worth preserving? This retreat will offer you an opportunity to explore practices to stay grounded and balanced in times of internal and external change, so you can continue to show up for yourself and for others in meaningful ways. Reflect on how you can direct your energy to preserve what is most important—in your life and in the world—as we move in the quieter months gain. Embrace the power of the collective and lean into the joy and energy that comes from spending time in community with inspiring women. This retreat will include:
Daily yoga, breathwork, & mediation practices
Learn harvesting and preserve practices with the bounty from the area
Spend guided time in nature
Firepit hangs and sauna sessions
Time to reflect and create
